Gloo Books was founded by a mother who, while reading daily with her son, noticed a painful gap in children’s literature: few characters looked like him or reflected the diversity of the real world. What began as the desire to write one inclusive book grew into a larger mission to build a publishing company rooted in compassion, representation, and belonging. Through thoughtful storytelling, Gloo Books creates stories that help children see themselves, learn empathy, and feel empowered from the very first page.
